Ringtone

I am about to get my second Samsung T-619 replaced by T-Mobile. After figuring out the bluetooth connection issue I was having with Leopard, I decided I was sick of the default T-Mobile ringtone. My old ringtones from my first phone had already been downloaded long ago, but for some reason I had not set them yet. Perhaps I was waiting to edit some of the selections because some could have used better start and end points. Kind of silly timing finally setting my ringtones the week I am trying to get the phone replaced, right?  Well, it gets better. I decided it was time for me to make my first original ringtone. I combined some sampled sounds from my Sunrise Earth gig recording into my first three simple ringtones. It is hard to tell how well it came out because the speaker is semi-broken and very distorted, so I've decided to leave them as they are until I receive my new phone. I also think I could do better if I deliberately compose the sounds for a ringtone as I focus on the frequency response of the speaker and the pacing of the ring time. These first experiments I am not releasing into the wild--stay tuned for future ringtones. If you are really curious to hear it or want a copy, I suppose you could squeeze one out of me if you emailed me: roth@rothmichaels.us
